Cindy Newell - Office Manager

Cindy began working as a Dental Assistant in 2005. She was very quiet when she first started, but that didn’t last long. Cindy loved being Dr. Walz’s right-hand lady, however, she recently took on the role of office manager for Dental Studio Associates and Cornerstone Kids Dentistry. She has a strong knowledge of dentistry, which not only helps in this role but aids patients in understanding their treatment plan and finances. She attended and graduated from Our Lady of the Elms with a BA in Science in 2009. Then we saw her marry her high school sweetheart in 2012 and then welcome her children soon after. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, doodling, and traveling down south to see the rest
of her family.

Ashley Barta

Ashley graduated from AIC with a BA in Business Management in 2015. She joined the DSA family in 2018. As your insurance and billing specialist, she is here to assist you by helping you understand your insurance benefits. We all know how difficult insurances can be and having her knowledge in this department is a benefit for all patients. She enjoys making patients feel welcome, cared for, and first class at every visit. When not working Ashley loves spending time with her husband, son, two cats, family and friends, and watching football.

Sara Ricco

Sara joined our business team in February 2019! She graduated from Porter and Chester in 2011 from the dental assistant program. Before joining our team, she previously worked as an assistant for general and pediatric dentistry. She also has experience as an orthodontic lab technician. She is now expanding her knowledge on the business end of dental. Sara is a great addition to our front desk girls! Sara loves the beach, camping, tacos, singing, serving at church and her two cats! When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dominick and three boys, Nathan, Giovanni and Dominick Jr.

Maria Cavalieri

Maria joined our DSA staff in 2018! She originally started in the dental field as an assistant. She graduated Porter & Chester in 2008. Maria has expanded her horizons when she joined our team. She is here to help schedule appointments, and answer any questions you may have regarding your dental treatment. She is the go-to person when it comes patient’s pre-treatment estimates and making sure their insurances are active for all upcoming appointments. When not at the office, you can almost guarantee that she is with her family hiking or sticking her head into a good book.

Stephaine Caron
